We invite you to be part of our fund- and friend raiser, the Women Who Change the Heart of the City Topeka Event, 2025!

And GUESS WHAT!? This year our event is Valentine’s week! February 13th! It’s going to be a beautiful celebration of the work of women!

Women Who Change the Heart of the City is part of SOUL/The Urban Ministry Institute of Topeka’s effort to:

…help equip incarcerated women for significant work for the Lord within their context and when they return to their families, churches and communities.
…assist churches in receiving returning citizens and incorporating them into the family and local ministries.
…engage in special projects that help stabilize neighborhoods so returning citizens can serve the Kingdom.

…Women Who Change… is our only major fundraiser each year and provides funding for seminary and discipleship classes for women incarcerated in the Topeka Correctional Facility. It also provides, through shared books and resources, for classes in our county jail, the Topeka Adult Correctional Facility, and in other facilities as we have opportunity. We will also announce our 2025 WWCHC project!

Our incarcerated students do not pay for their books, and none of our Capstone Seminary students pay administrative costs. We are entirely donor-funded. On behalf of all of us, we are so grateful for your financial support and prayers!

This year, in order to be able to use more funds for programs, we are grateful to partner with Topeka First Church of the Nazarene, 1001 SW Buchanan St, Topeka Kansas. And…the night before Valentine’s Day! A perfect year to hold our first auction! Think Valentine’s gifts!

Networking, silent auction and fellowship from 5:30-6:30; Food service begins at 6. Awards and Program beginning at 6:30.

There is no cost to attend the event. You may give by sponsoring a table ($400 for a table of 8, with your business/organization or personal name either recognized or anonymous). Or, you may give as you are led at the event. Having all of our tables sponsored allows all gifts at the event to be use for the work!
